Material:
Clay Pot (choice of size)
Green Chalkboard Paint (
or make your own)
Paint Brush
White Chalk

How to:
Here is a super easy way to keep track of what is growing in your pot and they look nice too. The labeling
isn't permanent, so you can use your pots to plant seedlings, store items, etc and you can always mark on
the chalkboard area, what is inside.

Prepare your clay pot for painting by soaking your clay pot in very hot water for about 10 minutes. This
will help to clean your pot and remove any debris. Set your pot aside to dry completely.

Once your pot is dry, paint the upper rim of the clay pot with chalkboard paint. You may need to paint a
second coat, but be sure to wait for the first coat of paint to dry.

Do not use your pot for soil until it is completely dry. I recommend that you wait at least 10 days after
painting before you plant.I plant seedlings every year and didn't always know what seeds were in what
pot. This helps me keep track of my little seedlings.
